LISA
Lisa was born and raised in New York City, but studied at the University of Illinois. She later went to Parkland College, also in Illinois, to obtain her dental hygiene degree. She has been with the practice since 2013. Lisa loves to cook and also enjoys taking on DIY projects in her free time.
FRIDA
Always interested in a health –related career, Frida started in dentistry as a dental assistant. Her passion inspired her to further her education by becoming a Dental Hygienist. Frida graduated from New York University and has been working in the field of dentistry over 10 years. She enjoys dental hygiene and prides herself in being gentle, yet thorough. Frida is passionate about dental health and spends time with patients to educate and encourage them to maintain good dental health. Frida is married and is a dedicated Mom to her two sons.
SANDRA
Sandra originally hails from Ireland and is a long time member of the Washington Square Dental Group family. Sandra has a gentle touch, and firmly believes that prevention is key. She attempts to put even the most nervous patient at ease with her demeanor. When not in the office, Sandra loves to travel with her husband, spend time with family and friends and soak up the culture of New York.
LORY
Lory is our Office Manager and hygienist. She has been working with Washington Square Dental Group for over twenty-five years. She started here as a dental assistant, went to dental hygiene school, and has now been a hygienist with us on Saturdays for over seventeen years. Her upbeat personality always brings positive energy to our office. She is our office plant manager and is responsible for many of the beautiful blooms and potted plants in our office.
Natalie
Natalie is a dedicated and skilled dental hygienist with over 20 years of experience known for her warm and gentle manner and thorough cleanings. She has the ability to understand and connect with her patient providing tailored patient education and hygiene services. In her free time Natalie is a gym enthusiast who enjoys working out so she can keep up with being a mom to four boys.
DENTAL ASSISTANTS
PAULINE
Pauline was born in Beirut, Lebanon. Half Lebanese and half Turkish, she emigrated to Brooklyn at age 7. She has been a dental assistant for twenty-one years and has been with Washington Square Dental Group for over ten years. She loves people and interacting with patients, making everyone smile and putting them at ease. She enjoys spending her free time on the beach, travelling and being with family.
Vicky
Vicky is a dental assistant that has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She trained as a dentist in the Philippines and loves all aspects of general dentistry. She is especially passionate about making nervous patients feel comfortable and supported throughout the entire treatment. Her favorite procedures are surgeries and cosmetic cases because of its ability to change patient’s lives. In her free time, Vicki likes to take hikes with her husband and attend Comic-Con with her daughter.
Xiomara
Xiomara is both a dental assistant and treatment coordinator at the front desk. She received her degree in Dental Assisting in Puerto Rico over 20 years ago, and has had many roles within dental offices. She worked at Washington Square Dental Group over 10 years ago, took a short break when family brought her back to Puerto Rico, and re-joined our practice as soon as she moved back to New York in 2023. Xiomara appreciates the esthetic and functional aspects of dentistry, appreciating each smile as a work of art.
